πŸ₯΄ Got Glutened in California - Ug | β˜€οΈ Epic June Box Reveal | πŸ₯š Grated Eggs on Toast?!?

Hello Reader,

I had the best time hanging out with you on Tuesday at our Facebook Live. Thank you for joining me! In case you missed it, you can watch the replay here.

As I mentioned, I'm in sunny California on vacation with my family. We've visited Yosemite National Park and Sequoia National Park, and today we're driving down to Los Angeles to spend the weekend with our son, who is living there this summer for an internship.

The scenery has been incredible, but finding safe gluten-free food near the National Parks has been a challenge. Thankfully, we rented a VRBO, which has allowed us to prepare most of our meals and pack lunches each day.

We did stop at a restaurant in Fresno on Wednesday that had glowing reviews on the Find Me Gluten Free app. Unfortunately, the meal didn't agree with me. Whether it was gluten or something else, my body reacted almost immediately. My stomach started gurgling, and I spent the next little while regretting my decision.

It's a frustrating reminder that even after 14+ years of living with celiac disease, traveling while gluten-free can still come with surprises and setbacks.

Onward and upward. Today is a new day, and there are more adventures ahead.

My Epic High-Protein Avocado Toast

I'm going to change your life - or at least your morning toast. Here's how I make high-protein avocado toast that's filling and totally gluten-free. I hope you'll give it a try!

  • Grab a bag of the NEW Schar Artisan Baker Bread. (Please note that Schar totally revamped its bread recipe, and this new formulation is soft, tangy, and holds together well.)
  • Lightly toast a slice - or two.
  • Top the toast with smashed avocado.
  • Grate a hard-boiled egg over the top.
  • Drizzle with honey.
  • Add a pinch of Kosher salt and a pinch of red pepper flakes (optional).

Once you make this delicious high-protein avocado toast, you will never go back to your old ways.

Watch me make it in THIS VIDEO. It's super easy and 100% delicious! This recipe is sponsored by Schar.

See You Next Week

Keeping things short and sweet this week because I'm on vacation. Have a great weekend, friends!

Sincerely,

Jenny

As it turns out, many of us have bought the wrong version of a product. I mentioned how I've been confused by Goodles, Bob's Red Mill, and Van's Waffles, since they all make a gluten-free and gluten-full version, but you all added even more to my list - spot the differences?
