While the adorable shop offers gluten-y and gluten-free donuts, its owners are knowledgeable and careful about keeping their GF patrons safe. They have a separate dedicated gluten-free fryer that is only used for making gluten-free donuts and great protocols to prevent cross-contamination. The server not only changed her gloves but also changed her APRON! That was a first for me. These donuts tasted like the real deal (at least what I could remember donuts tasting like!). Sort Of: I received an email from Quiznos telling me they just added Udi's gluten-free bread to 150 US locations. I asked if they had any allergy protocols in place, and they have not responded to me (yet). However, all their communications say that the GF subs are prepared in the same space as gluten-containing subs, which means unintended cross-contamination is likely. I probably wouldn't feel comfortable eating here without more information, but in case you do, I wanted to pass along this information. I'll update you if I learn more.
