Hello Reader,

It’s Labor Day weekend here in the U.S., and many of you have plans to soak up the last days of summer. I hope you have the best weekend!

Before you go, I have a few quick things to share.

September Boxes Ship on Tuesday

My September Love Me Gluten Free box ships next week, and if you snagged one, get excited. It's one of my most high-value boxes yet, and offers the perfect selection of goodies to kick off September and the “unofficial” start of fall.

👉 I still have a few September boxes left. Use code LOVEME10 for $10 off any subscription at lovemeglutenfree.com.

👉 Join us on Facebook Live for a live unboxing on September 5, 2025, at 11 am CDT. We will be giving away a free September box to a live attendee - don't miss!

New Product Alert + GIVEAWAY!

Feel Good Foods just dropped two new products - and both are great for busy back-to-school schedules, especially when you don't have time to cook (or just don't feel like cooking).

(1) Pancake Balls: These new pancake balls live up to the hype. They're ultra-fluffy, squishy, and ready in seconds in the microwave. 🫶

(2) Crispy Chicken Bites: These should be called extra crispy bites (especially when air fried!) and offer 16g of protein per serving. I loved them on top of my salad, and my daughter loved them as an after-school snack.

Pro tip: Combine the Pancake Balls + Crispy Chicken Bites for a chicken-and-waffles-inspired meal. Genius!

👉 GIVEAWAY: I’ve partnered with Feel Good Foods to give away these new products + a $100 Whole Foods gift card. These products are worth every bite and penny!

ENTER HERE - please share with friends + family for more chances to win!

New Products For Us

I had a blast at Newtopia last week. It's an industry trade show and there were a lot of emerging gluten-free brands that attended. I created a list of my top product finds here. And pictured are four stand-out favs. 😊

New Podcast Episode

Check out my latest episode of Gluten Free Unwrapped featuring Lorissa Link, the founder of LK Snacks. Lorissa discusses the personal mission behind her company and why what she's doing is vital to families with food allergies. And did you know that Lorissa is part of a jerky family dynasty?

👉 Listen to my interview with Lorissa on Apple Podcast, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

S'mores Cookies

These Gluten-Free S'mores Cookies remind me of fall. They're chewy, gooey, and full of campfire taste, without the campfire, of course. I'm planning on making them this weekend - and maybe I'll put on that sweater, too. 😉 It's only going to be 72º tomorrow. I'm so ready for fall!

Small Business Spotlight

I met Seena Chriti years ago at a tradeshow, and we became fast friends. She's been working hard to bring her chocolate-coated puffed ancient grains bites (known as Paktli) to market for 20 years, and last week, I was giddy when I spotted them at Sprouts!

I'm rooting for Seena and her delicious product to succeed. Please support her by picking up a package of Paktli at Sprouts. She'll only be at Sprouts for the next 90 days.

Me: Why did you start Paktli, and what does it mean?

Seena: When I came to the US, I wanted to recreate a snack that honors my Mexican heritage, one rich in history, symbolism, and nutrition. The name was inspired by the traditional Mexican snack "alegrías," which means "joy" in Spanish. Alegrías snacks were made with puffed amaranth, honey, or chocolate.

Me: What was your motivation for making your products certified gluten-free?

Seena: Amaranth is naturally gluten-free, and when I mixed in other "ancient grains," I chose quinoa and millet, which are also gluten-free. I started the project not necessarily with the idea of creating a gluten-free product, but since it happened this way, I decided to own it and run with it.

Me: What are you most proud of?

Seena: I'm very proud to have a product made with ancient grains that carries ancient wisdom of cultures, such as the Aztecs for amaranth and the Incas for quinoa. They knew from innate wisdom that these grains were rich in protein, and that's why they were staples in their diet.

Me: Where can people find Paktli products?

Seena: You can find us at Sprouts, starting in September, to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. You can also find us on our website at paktlifoods.com.
