Meet the Woman Behind Celiac Cruise

This week, I had the pleasure of interviewing Maureen Bayse, the co-founder of Celiac Cruise.

As you can imagine, a cruise is about relaxation and indulgence for most families, but for Maureen, a family cruise with her 4-year-old son was a wake-up call.

Her son struggled to find safe food on board, and while no one got sick, the stress of constantly worrying about meals made it hard for them to enjoy their vacation. Maureen knew gluten-free families deserved better, and that’s when the idea for Celiac Cruise was born.

In this episode, Maureen shares her deeply personal story, the challenges of building Celiac Cruise from the ground up (and launching right before Covid 😷), and all the knowledge and value she brings to every sailing.

New Product Alert 🚨

In case you haven't heard the big news, Caulipower just dropped its new Dill Pickle Pizza at Kroger stores nationwide! The brand's signature cauliflower crust is topped with a tangy blend of dill-pickle-inflused-béchamel sauce, and then topped with roasted garlic, mozzarella, and fresh dill. 🍕🌿

I love everything dill pickle, and even make my own pickles every year (using Bubu's amazing recipe), so it's no surprise this pizza was a hit at my house. Be sure to pick up one at your local Kroger and let me know what you think!

That's all I have for this week - short and sweet. Have a beautiful weekend filled with lots of delicious gluten-free food!

Sincerely,

Jenny

Hello Reader, Next month, Love Me Gluten Free turns two. And we’ve come a long way since those humble beginnings in my basement, where friends and family helped me pack our very first boxes. Remember my first box ever? It was themed "Love From Colorado" and featured brands from my home state. This business hasn’t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful to every single one of you who has supported this journey, whether you’ve purchased a box, followed along through these...

Hello Reader, It's the first day of spring, and I've got a new Nima test, fun recipes, new product finds (and discounts), and more. Let's get to it! Testing Drumroll Donuts 🍩 I think I’m losing my mind. I saw a celiac creator post about Drumroll donuts, saying they contain oats, but when I checked the ingredient list. There are no oats. Regardless, I thought, let's go ahead and test them with my Nima, just to put everyone's mind at ease. As you know, I have a bit of a love-hate relationship...

Hello Reader, Many of you have told me how much my weekly newsletter means to you, and truly, that feedback never gets old. That said… a few of you have gently (and not-so-gently 😉) mentioned that my Friday emails can be a bit long. Fair. I do tend to have a lot to say. This week, I’m trying two shorter newsletters you can quickly scan and enjoy. Let’s see how it goes. Feedback is always welcome! Exciting Changes at LMGF As many of you know, I also founded Love Me Gluten Free, a subscription...
