Hello Reader, Welcome to our weekly newsletter, where we talk about everything gluten-free ... and never get tired of it. For long-time readers, you know I've been following the story of Omer Shem Tov. I have an exciting update for you - keep reading. But first, if you're new here, you may not know that I also founded the Love Me Gluten Free subscription boxes. Each month, I curate a selection of tasty gluten-free goodies so we can all enjoy sampling new foods and the joy of unboxing together! 👉 Reserve our very special and ultra-cozy October box now at lovemeglutenfree.com. Chipotle's Guac RecipeA few years ago, Chipotle tweeted its not-so-top-secret guac recipe. Their guac is amazing—but a bit pricey. So, of course, I used the recipe to make a week’s worth of guac for a fraction of the price! 🥑 I enjoyed my homemade guac with Avocado Toast Crackers by Crunchmaster. These crackers are baked - not fried - and seasoned to perfection. What a treat! Pumpkin Donut HolesMy friend Jen (who lives in California) spotted the new gluten-free pumpkin pie spice donut holes at Trader Joe's and snapped this photo. I know they will be in more stores soon - keep checking! Check out all the GF fall finds at Trader Joe's in this post. Gluten-Free Beer 101 🍻This week on Gluten Free Unwrapped, I interviewed the inspiring Karen Hertz of Holidaily Brewing Co. Here's what we talked about:

Could you leave a quick review? Let me know so I can properly thank you! Omer is a Free Man - ReflectionsIf you’ve read my newsletter over the years, you know the name, Omer Shem Tov. He was the young man with celiac disease who was kidnapped at the Nova Music Festival and held hostage for 505 days. This week, Omer spoke at an event in Denver, and my husband and I had the surreal honor of meeting him. Hearing him share his harrowing story brought me to tears. He endured brutal conditions, including being held inside a cage in total darkness in the tunnels of Gaza, where he couldn’t stand upright or take a deep breath. I had a few moments alone with Omer to ask him about his experiences. He told me that he ate whatever he was given - usually bread and occasionally rice and beans - but he did not get gluten-free food. He said he experienced stomach pain daily, but ate whatever he could to survive. Omer is now physically free, but he still carries mental scars. He says he can’t fully recover until all the hostages are home. There are still 48 of them, and only 20 are believed to be alive. If you prayed for Omer’s safe return, your prayers worked and helped him survive. Please don't stop praying. Others need your help. 🙏 Happy New YearTo all my Jewish friends, Shana Tova! Wishing you a sweet and happy New Year. 🍎🍯 Traditionally, families attend synagogue and enjoy sweet foods together—dipping apples in honey to welcome a year of sweetness. Here’s hoping this year is even sweeter than the last two! PS: Check out my list of Rosh Hashanah recipes for a bit of inspiration. Sincerely, Jenny Follow on Instagram, Facebook, and/or TikTok. Hello Reader, Next month, Love Me Gluten Free turns two. And we’ve come a long way since those humble beginnings in my basement, where friends and family helped me pack our very first boxes. Remember my first box ever? It was themed "Love From Colorado" and featured brands from my home state. This business hasn’t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful to every single one of you who has supported this journey, whether you’ve purchased a box, followed along through these...
Hello Reader, It's the first day of spring, and I've got a new Nima test, fun recipes, new product finds (and discounts), and more. Let's get to it! Testing Drumroll Donuts 🍩 I think I’m losing my mind. I saw a celiac creator post about Drumroll donuts, saying they contain oats, but when I checked the ingredient list. There are no oats. Regardless, I thought, let's go ahead and test them with my Nima, just to put everyone's mind at ease. As you know, I have a bit of a love-hate relationship...
Hello Reader, Many of you have told me how much my weekly newsletter means to you, and truly, that feedback never gets old. That said… a few of you have gently (and not-so-gently 😉) mentioned that my Friday emails can be a bit long. Fair. I do tend to have a lot to say. This week, I’m trying two shorter newsletters you can quickly scan and enjoy. Let’s see how it goes. Feedback is always welcome! Exciting Changes at LMGF As many of you know, I also founded Love Me Gluten Free, a subscription...
