Hello Reader,

I'm excited to kick off the New Year with one of the most beautiful Love Me Gluten Free boxes ever.

Please join me today, Friday, January 9th, at 11:00 AM CST for a live unboxing on Facebook so you can see the box and learn more about all the fun brands inside!

Anyone who joins live will be entered to win a free Mystery Box - it'll include some January goodies and other products from prior boxes. I know it's stuffed because I just packed it!

--> January boxes are SOLD OUT, but February boxes are now available for PRE-ORDER. Please note we have extremely low inventory, so don't delay if you want one.

And here's a sneak peek at the beautiful January box - hot off the press!

Brands We Lost in 2025

While 2025 brought back some fun, nostalgic favorites — hello gluten-free Cheez-Its, soft-baked Chips Ahoy, and Annie’s Cookie Crunch cereal — it was also a year where we quietly lost a few promising food brands.

Better Bites Bakery: I haven’t been able to find an official announcement about the brand's closure, but after some digging, it appears the brand may have shuttered. The company filed for bankruptcy in July 2025; its Yelp listing now shows the bakery as closed, and its website is no longer available. While I could be wrong, all signs point to Better Bites no longer operating.

Konscious Foods: You may have spotted Konscious Foods’ plant-based, gluten-free sushi rolls in the freezer aisle at the grocery store. I purchased a few boxes myself and sampled their products at several trade shows. Sadly, Konscious Foods closed its doors in 2025, marking another tough moment for the plant-based and gluten-free category.

Sprinkles: When cupcakes were everything in the early 2000s, Sprinkles was opening bakeries across the country and setting the standard for the cupcake craze. Just a few weeks ago, Sprinkles abruptly announced that it had closed all of its bakery locations. While I believe their packaged products (i.e. cupcake mixes) may still be available, the bakery side of the business has officially shut down.

Got Flu?

Last week, our house was knocked flat by Flu A.

My husband ran a fever for six straight days, and even now, he’s still coughing and very fatigued. This one hit him hard.

We’ve been in full symptom-management mode over here — and honestly, my January Love Me Gluten Free box came to the rescue in the best way.

First up: Essential Candy.

If you haven’t tried them yet, they make plant-powered botanical lozenges that are basically candy infused with supportive herbs — designed to help with digestion, immunity, joints, and sleep.

All I want right now is for my husband to feel better and stop coughing. He’s been slowly working his way through the Digestive lozenges from my January box because they’ve been incredibly soothing on his throat and upset tummy.

They've helped him so much that I just ordered him the Wellness lozenges — they're made with elderberry, schisandra, lemon, and rosehips — to keep the soothing going and support his immune system.

I cannot wait for these to arrive. It's one of those products you don’t realize you need until you really need it, so I recommend stocking up, just in case.

The other MVP in our house this week?

The Chicken Noodle Soup Mix from Anderson House.

There’s something comforting about being able to make soup immediately when someone you love is sick, and everyone deserves a good bowl of soup when they’re under the weather.

Anderson House is having its big sale right now — 26% off many of their soups through 1/11.

Once the sale ends, you can use my exclusive coupon code LOVEGF10 for 10% off any purchase at andersonhousefoods.com. (Please note my code doesn't work on sale items.)

If your pantry could use a little cold-and-flu backup (or you just love a really good soup moment), now is the time. đź’›
