Sprouts Expands East and ALDI Expands WestIf you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love shopping at Sprouts Farmers Market. It’s a gluten-free dream. There are more than 3,000 gluten-free products on the shelves! Sprouts just opened its first New York location on Long Island this week, with plans to open dozens of more stores by the end of 2026. Maryland and Massachusetts are also on deck, with first locations expected in 2028. ALDI has also announced major expansion plans in recent weeks. ALDI will open a store in Portland, Maine, add 10 new locations in Phoenix, and convert nearly 80 Southeastern Grocers stores into ALDIs. The brand also plans to open 50 stores in Colorado over the next five years and double its current footprint in Las Vegas. I’ve shopped at an ALDI exactly once—21 years ago in Chicago (I remember because my son was just a baby). I haven’t stepped into one since going gluten-free because I live in Colorado now, but I'm excited to give it a try! Better For You Valentine's Day CandyMost of us grew up exchanging candy loaded with sugar and artificial dyes with our schoolmates, but today, we have better options, including Zolli's NEW Gum Pops, which we included in our February box. Did you know that Zolli's Gum Pops are the first ever sugar-free gum pop and the best-selling sugar-free candy brand on Amazon? You can totally understand why I want you to know about this brand! Zolli Pops are gluten-free, sugar-free, artificial dye-free, keto- and GLP-1 friendly, making them a great option for kids’ Valentine’s Day exchanges or as a fun treat for yourself. This week, I had the chance to sit down with Alina Morse, the CEO and founder of Zolli Candy, on my podcast, Gluten Free Unwrapped — and I loved this conversation. Alina started Zolli when she was just 7 years old, and she walks us through how that simple childhood idea turned into a brand that’s genuinely changing the candy aisle for the better! She’s 20 now, studying finance in college, and somehow still running Zolli at the same time — which she casually refers to as her “extracurricular activity.” 😄 📣 CLICK HERE to listen to the episode on my blog or search for "Gluten Free Unwrapped" wherever you listen to your podcasts. 👉 EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT: Stock up on Zolli Candy for Valentine's Day and Easter! Use the code LOVEZOLLI for 26% off at shop.zollipops.com through 3/31/26. Wait, That Contains Gluten?!?If you don’t already follow me on Instagram, come join the fun. I have a running series called “Here’s a Product I Bet You Didn’t Know Contains Gluten,” where I share surprise foods that contain the dreaded protein. Like, did you know that some tuna contains wheat? Or that the Scrub Daddy Damp Duster is made from wheat gluten? Or Slim Jims are loaded with barley?!? This week’s feature? Hershey’s Kisses. Not the classic plain ones (those are gluten-free), but the seasonal Valentine’s Day versions you’re seeing everywhere right now. You know, those adorable pink ice cream cone-flavored Kisses, welp, they contain wheat flour. ⚠️ You can watch the full video here—and don’t forget to hit that follow button while you’re visiting. 🙏 🎁 Bonus: If you’re following me on Instagram, you know that I'm giving away a FREE February box to one of my Instagram friends. Let’s get into it! Hello Reader, A lot has been happening in gluten-free land lately — and I’ve got some important updates for you. Let’s talk about Nima’s comeback, food intolerances beyond gluten, and a few exclusive deals you don’t want to miss. Nima is Back in Business (Yes, Really!) As many of you know, I stopped recommending Nima a few years ago — even after championing it from the beginning. Why? They couldn’t reliably supply test capsules (rendering the device useless), the company was poorly managed,...
